Is it really free?
Yes. The Fit Report is free to try with no account — including its skills-and-courses plan and referral strategy for every report — and job alerts are free — daily for your first 3 days, then a weekly summary. You also get 3 free tailored-resume generations. Founding Pro keeps daily alerts every day, plus an Excel export, deeper AI matching, higher Fit Report limits and 100 tailored resumes a month.
What do I get after a Fit Report — is it just a score?
No — the score is only the start. From the same report you can, in a click: see the exact skills to add with the best free and best paid course for each; get a referral plan — who to approach, ready-to-paste LinkedIn searches to find them, and a personalized outreach message; and generate a resume tailored to that specific job, downloadable as a clean PDF. Skills and referrals are free; tailored resumes are free for your first 3, then ₹5 each (100/month on paid plans).
Will the tailored resume make things up?
No. It only rephrases and reprioritizes what's already in your resume to mirror the job's language — it never invents skills, employers, job titles, dates or metrics. A gap skill can appear as "upskilling in progress" only if you tick a box confirming you're genuinely enrolling in a course for it. Every change is listed with the reason, so you stay in control.
How is this different from LinkedIn or Naukri job alerts?
Keyword alerts match words. CareerAgent understands meaning — "Customer Success" on your CV can match a "Customer Experience Lead" opening — and it explains every recommendation instead of handing you a black-box score.
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No. CareerAgent finds, scores and explains matches, and now helps you close skill gaps, line up a referral and tailor your resume — but you send every application yourself. Auto-apply is not a feature, and we would never submit anything without your explicit approval.
How accurate are the scores?
Scores are AI estimates based on your CV and the job's requirements. They're useful guidance for prioritizing, not a prediction of whether you'll be hired. We show the reasoning so you can judge for yourself.
Which job sources does it cover?
Today we aggregate remote-first job platforms — Remotive, RemoteOK, Jobicy, The Muse and Arbeitnow — plus Adzuna for broader global and India coverage. Between them they surface roles from thousands of companies, including many Y Combinator-backed startups. Everything is deduplicated, and we're continually adding sources.
Is my CV data safe?
For the Fit Report — and the skills, referral and tailored-resume steps that follow — your CV is analyzed on demand and not stored. For Job Alerts we keep it only with your permission, to improve matching, and you can delete it anytime by unsubscribing or emailing us. We never sell your data or share it with recruiters without your consent.
